FrontCore, and its employees, (collectively, “FrontCore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy concerns of our customers, the members of FrontCore-powered businesses, and all users of our websites, including but not limited to https://frontcore.com,   https://kursguiden.no and all of the webpages, subdomains, country level domains, and subparts of those websites or mobile application owned, operated, or controlled by us (collectively, our “Sites”, and together with the insights, analytics, and other features we make available through our products and services, is collectively referred to as the “Platform”).  We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) and any other documents referred to in it sets forth the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, in connection with the Services will be processed by us. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy does not apply to:

  • Third-Party Sites: This policy does not extend to third-party websites, apps, videos (whether embedded or linked), or other content (“Linked Sites”) not operated by us. These Linked Sites have their unique practices for collecting and using personal information. We recommend reviewing their privacy disclosures to understand how they process your data, as we are not responsible for their practices.
  • Information Processed on Behalf of Customers: FrontCore serves as a processor of personal information for its customers, partners, and others. The privacy policies or notices of these entities govern their collection and use of personal information, for which they are the controllers. Our processing activities are dictated by the contractual agreements with these parties and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Inquiries or requests related to data collection by our partners should be directed to them.
  • Non-Personal Information: We may process data that is not linked to any identifiable individual for any legitimate business purpose, and such processing is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

 

Processing of personal data

It is completely voluntary to provide your personal information when browsing our Sites, using our Platform, whether you sign up for newsletters, or for our blog, download content from our webpage, book an event or enquire for information regarding an event, or send a request to FrontCore.

What personal information we collect

  • Chat Modules. We may collect certain categories of personal information from you when you use our interactive chat module. By interacting with the chat box, you consent to our collection practices and understand and acknowledge that we may use this data to communicate with you about our Platform.
  • Payment Processing Information. For example, the form of payment, payment card number and details, bank account number, payment service provider, and other payment information you provide.
  • Precise Geolocation. You may choose to grant our Platform permission to access your device’s precise geolocation, which we may use to confirm your address and help us operate or personalize our Platform, including by tagging posts, providing information on or adding information to a map, and helping us show you more relevant content or ads.

  • To distribute your information to our trusted third parties (Your personal information will be processed in order to make sure the organizer get the information about your booking, can process your booking, and send you all information necessary to join the event you booked, or to send you information about our trusted third parties’ event offers from which you have requested such information, or send you information you have requested).

The email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, booking or information request, in addition to occasional company news, event updates, blog updates, promotions, related product or service information etc, if you opt-in to receive such information.

If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, promotions, etc.

FrontCore collect information about visitors to our websites. The purpose of this is to gather statistics we use in aggregate form to help us understand how our sites are being used or how effective our marketing campaigns are, or to help us customize our sites for you. The statistics provide us insight into for example; how many who visit different pages, how long they stay on each page, what sites our visitors came from, and what browsers they use. Search

We collect information regarding searches on our sites through our search engines. The purpose of collecting this information is to improve features and our sites. User patterns are stored in a database to improve the user-friendliness of the website.

E-mail tracking

FrontCore use e-mail services to administrate mailing lists and to send out e-mails. We collect name and e-mail addresses to ensure we send out the e-mails to the correct contact. Through the e-mails we track activity and statistics, such as who opens the e-mails, who clicks on any link in the e-mail, how many unsubscribe and how many e-mails who bounce.

 

Disclosure of information to outside parties

We work closely with our trusted third parties, i.e. the organizers of events listed at our webpages, user of our training and learning management solution, sub processors and partners to provide you with correct and updated information about events they organize. When you book an event, or request information from one of our trusted third parties, the relevant organizer will receive your name and e-mail address and any other information they might request like telephone number, address, birthdate and use your personal data to process your booking or provide you with any other information that you have requested.

The information may also be used to send you additional newsletters and e-mails, provided you have opted in to receive such information.

Our organizers also subscribe to our training and learning management solution. In these cases, we might also transfer personal data to third parties who are subcontractors in our services or who are integrated with our software through API (Application Programming Interface). API integration means we feed data to the third parties software solution.

  • Payment using cards: If you pay your booking with a credit card or debit card, information necessary to process your payment will be transferred to our partners who provide the payment solution
  • SMS services: If the organizer use our SMS module, the information will be transferred to our partner for SMS services when sending you an SMS.
  • Invoicing: If you book an event from an organizer who feed the order from our solution to their invoicing solution/finance system, then the order data necessary to create the invoice will be transferred to their provider of the invoicing system.
  • Competence certificate: If you book training that produce a competence certificate upon completion and the course provider use our competence certificate module, the information required to produce the certificate might be transferred to the registry issuing the certificate.
  • E-mail: if you book an event who use our Message center, then any e-mails you receive will be sent through our provider of e-mail infrastructure services.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to other third parties your personally identifiable information. However, we may release your information when we believe release is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Furthermore, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

E-mail and phone

FrontCore use e-mail and telephone in our daily operations. Relevant information from conversations and email correspondence will be logged and stored in our CRM system.  Our employees use e-mail in our dialog with customers and others. Each employee is individually responsible to delete e-mails that is no longer relevant to store. E-mails that is deemed important to provide good service to our contacts or to improve our services will be logged in our CRM system for later reference.

Telephone conversations (numbers dialling in and numbers dialled to and call time) will be logged in our telephone central. This is necessary to operate and maintain the telephone system, as well as providing aggregate statistics. Employees might make notes from conversations and log them in the CRM systems for later reference, to provide better services to our contacts, as well as improving our services. No other systematic registration of incoming calls is made to identify the person dialling in.

 

Transfer of your information outside of Europe

As a part of the services offered to you through our websites, the information you provide to us may be transferred outside the European Union (‘’EU’’) if any of our sub-processors have their servers located outside Europe. None of our current sub-processors have their servers outside of Europe. All sub-suppliers to FrontCore must comply with GDPR.

If we transfer your information outside of the EU/EEA, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected in accordance with GDPR.
